Mickie worked for her father in the family real estate business as a teenager. In 1984, after raising a family, Mickie pursued her passion and became a licensed Realtor. Two years later she turned her vision into reality by opening her own company, Dauphin Realty Inc.

Over the 28 years she owned and managed Dauphin Realty, she grew it to five offices, with over 100 agents serving Mobile and Baldwin County.

As the business thrived, she served on numerous community boards including Baldwin Realtors several times as a director and the Mobile Area Association of Realtors, President of the Board in 2001, and named “Realtor of the Year” in 2002.

After selling her company to Roberts Brothers Inc. in 2011, she continued to lead and inspire as the manager of their Fairhope office through June of 2025.

Now, she brings her decades of knowledge, trusted local expertise, and proven leadership back to the community through her new venture, Blue Heron Realty.
