Fairhope, which is a big part of the Eastern Shore, is often featured in Southern and Coastal magazines. Famous for its flower-filled downtown area and described as Carmel by the Bay, Fairhope is unique for locally owned shops, restaurants, and hotels. Also, the town bluffs, which boast sweeping views of the over 400 square mile Mobile Bay. Artists and visitors come from all over to participate in the annual Arts Crafts Festival, and many choose to stay! There is always something truly wonderful going on in Fairhope.
